Overview

Solaria at Bandara Soekarno Hatta Terminal 1A offers a comforting culinary refuge for travelers seeking authentic Indonesian flavors amidst the bustling airport environment. Situated in a separate building near the parking lot of Terminal 1A, this branch provides a cozy and cool atmosphere, a welcome contrast to the often crowded food court areas. The restaurant’s location makes it an ideal stop for those arriving early or waiting between flights, especially families looking for a quiet place to dine.

The menu features a variety of Indonesian staples with a few intriguing international twists. Notably, the Nasi Goreng Special stands out as a star dish, praised for its balanced spices and satisfying taste—a must-try for anyone wanting a genuine local experience. Additionally, the Chicken Cordon Bleu paired with French fries offers a Western option, though it slightly trails behind the Indonesian favorites in appeal. For those craving something unique, the Tom Yum fried rice with chicken presents a delightful fusion of Thai flavors, reflecting the restaurant’s diverse culinary influences.

While the dining space is generally comfortable, some patrons have noted minor concerns, such as occasional odors inside and the layout of the wash area, which lacks separation from the seating space. Despite these small drawbacks, the environment remains more pleasant than outdoor or typical airport dining zones, especially during warm weather. The fast and attentive service, particularly during off-peak hours, enhances the overall experience, maintaining the consistent quality found across Solaria outlets.

Solaria’s presence within the airport caters effectively to frequent travelers and families who value quick access to hearty, well-prepared meals. Its blend of traditional Indonesian dishes and accessible location make it a recommended spot to recharge both body and spirit before or after a flight. This restaurant successfully balances convenience with culinary authenticity, enriching the airport dining landscape in Jakarta.

Inside the Restaurant was a bit smelly. The toilet/washtafel area has no separate door from the sitting area. But it's better than outside when the weather is really warm.

They serve food during Ramadan. They have Indonesian dishes, as well as Thai, like tom yum fried rice with chicken. It is a recommended dish.

Thank God they have Solaria in the airport. The price worth the food. Located in the parking lot of Terminal 1. Try their specialty: nasi goreng. Not baggage friendly though, but it's ok.

Good place for resting and eating a hot meal before or after flight. It is located near Terminal 1A, a separated building beside parking lot. Plus point, cozy and cool inside, unlike in the food court. We came before lunch hour so it is empty and fast response. Taste is the same like every Solaria branch. Recommended place especially when travelling with family.
